Test Results

Well I got a letter from my doctor today… the results of my bloodwork and EKG. I opened it with some trepidation…

Talk about a big sigh of relief!  I called the doctor up to get the actual bloodwork numbers.  My cholesterol was 207, which really should be under 200, but is pretty close to in-range.  Further, it's down from 220 when they tested it a couple years ago.

My triglycerides (sp?) are 159, which are in the normal range for me.

My LDL is 140.6 (should be below 130) and my HDL is 34.7 (should be above 40).  Not perfect… but not terrible either.

All in all good news.  Phew!

Name That Movie #32

Here we go again folks.  Thanks James for your last name-that-movie post.  Good luck with mine…

Below is an image from a movie.  If you can guess the movie via that one image, do so, if not, there will be links to further images.  The second image should be more obvious, and the third image even moreso, and so on.  When you are ready to make a guess, make sure you indicate how many images it took before you got it.  Please try not to read the comments before you guess!

That said, here's the first image…

GOOD LUCK!!!

Somerset-Swansea

On Saturday I went strolling in Somerset.  We were in town visiting with Patty's sister Barbara for the holiday, and the kids were getting ready to do an egg hunt.  I needed my 4000 steps so I decided to go for a nice walk.

I walked my butt off.  Later in the day, Pat's father wanted to go for a walk so I walked a second time, for more than an hour.  In the end I walked over 10,000 aerobic steps.  Boy was I beat!!!
