Fan Shadows

The foyer outside my office in Littleton has 4 skylights and 4 ceiling fans.  Only three of the ceiling fans are working, and they don't appear to be spinning in sync.

In this lucky shot, I managed to capture all fans in approximately the same position, even the broken one.

Mating Season

Image

As you can see Spring is barely upon us but the mating season has begun, even as the interspecies flocking of the colder months is still occuring, as evidenced by the fraternizing DHL and UPS trucks in the background.

Vanessa was unimpressed by this tawdry display and encourages everyone to practice safe FedEx.

Off to See a Lizard and a Guinea Pig

This past Sunday we went geocaching on some conservation land in Lunenburg, check out the Off to See the Lizard Photo Album to read about our adventure.  We had lined up three caches to do, but due to some poor navigation on my part, we didn't have enough time (or energy) to try for the other two after the first one.

EDIT: Here's a link to the official cache site for Off to See the Lizard.

Then after a late lunch we added a new member to our family:

Meet Lily Seggelin, Lynnea's first pet of her very own.  She seems to be taking her responsibility to Lily very seriously which I think, is a good thing.

Lily is still settling in, but she seems to be adjusting.  Welcome, Lily!

Lynnea and the Cache

Hooray!  It probably took us twice as long to get here as it should have, but finding the cache itself was relatively simple.  As you can see it's a big ammo box.

It turned out that the cache contained among other things, about a dozen keychains with metallic geckos dangling from them.  I guess that is why it is called 'Off to See the Lizard'.  I took one to decorate my geocaching backpack which I hope to cover with pins and charms collected from various caches.

We took a few other items from the cache for Neya to keep and then added some treasures of our own.
