Here's our little bunch of snowbells that pop up each year. With the old boxwood elder gone they're probably getting more sun. Spring is undeterred by Winter's tenacity.

Fix Yer Damn Truck

Spotted this on the way to work. I wouldn't want to be there when this guy decides to take a hard left, would you? That rightward list is not due to the slope of the road or the angle of the camera… something is not right with this truck. Which might not be so bad if it wasn't hurtling down the highway at 70 MPH. Trucks are too big to be irresponsible with. Fix your truck man!

Closeup of a couple crow tracks. They're quite large birds. Each footprint looked to be about as long as my thumb. 2.5 to 3 inches or thereabouts?

Before this last snowfall Pat and I saw some crows wandering about on our lawn looking for things to eat. The day after the snow I went outside to find these crow tracks near the edge of my driveway.
